Stop #2 recap;

Tour stop #2 saw a field of 61 teams compete for the cash in the first ever two person team free-roll. The event started on Friday evening with an $800 modified single elimination 9-ball tourney in which every entrant was guaranteed two matches. This event was completed on Saturday morning before the noon start of the team event. The 9-ball was won by Dave Denzin over Chuck Craig..

The team event started promptly at noon and was narrowed down to the final 8 teams for Sunday. At 3:30 pm the top two teams agreed on a split and traveled home. Gary Metoxen cashed in only his second event ever, (last year he finished 25^th in the August singles at Mole Lake. His partner however continues to achieve greatness, visiting the winners circle for the second time this season. He is of course, Roy Skenandore who shot great again and overcame the 30 point increase from August. We will again test him at LCO in November with another increase.

The next event is a singles free roll at Mole Lake Oct. 16-18. The lodge rate for this tournament is reduced to 70.55 for the winter rate. Coupon books are still a part of this group rate. Hope to see you there.
