LCO recap of Nov 7-9, 2008

A great contingent of players turned out for the annual LCO Casino
tournament, Stop # 4 on the tour. Friday night saw a full board of 64
players for the $700 added event with Lupe Rosas (rated a 9) hanging
on for the win over a strong shooting Don Murray (rated a 6).

The partner’s event drew 49 teams (the largest thus far at LCO) and
played out to the final set in a almost double dip. The two remaining teams,
Seelen’s Home Improvement with Darryll Larson and Ken Depetro held
on to defeat the Ball Bangers team with Jonathon Dahl and Travis Smith.
Jonathon has played the two previous years at LCO and did not cash.
It was Travis’ first event which prompted their point total to be raised
twice during the event.

DR POOL and LCO would like to thank everyone for their participation
and look forward to next November to see everyone again.
