Another great tournament and turnout at Stop #3 at the Mole Lake Casino on October 10-12, 2008. 62 players attended the Friday 9-ball tournament with Ken Depetro from Marquette MI bringing home the title, defeating Cory Scheiderer in the Final match. The 2-person team 8-ball tournament a new format developed last season began at 10 am on Saturday with 54 teams. Some extremely close matches paved the way as the field narrowed to the top 16 teams which all cashed. The last chance tournament started at 8:15 Friday with 30 teams participating with the free entry format and a purse of $800. This paid the top four team, single Elimination.,
As both tournaments re-started Sunday morning, we were down to 8 in each
tournament. Dark Angell with Nate Angell and Jordan Jenquin from Green Bay
finished first in the last chance tourney and $300. The main event was played out and finished in the first set. Lucky Charms, Lanny Nord and Cory Scheiderer teamed up to defeat Sharks Club, with owner Mitch Roepcke and Ric Armstrong. Lucky Charms claimed $1100 and Sharks $900.
